The Marketing Agency (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates the-marketingagency.com. We are an advertising agency with offices in Montreal, Dubai, Paris, Hong Kong. Scope

This policy covers the public website at the-marketingagency.com and the contact form on it. It does not cover advertising accounts, pixels or measurement tools we configure for clients on their own properties — those are governed by the client’s privacy notices and platform terms.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, email address and, if you provide them, company name, phone number, message, and the out-of-home venues or digital channels you selected.

Technical data. Our hosting provider may process standard request data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referring URL, pages requested, and timestamps.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and similar). It sets cookies for this purpose — see Cookies below. We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this website.

Why we use it

We do not sell personal information. We do not use website visitors’ data to build advertising profiles or to serve third-party ads on this site.

Legal bases

Where GDPR, UK GDPR or Québec Law 25 apply: enquiry data is processed to take steps at your request before a contract, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. If we later add non-essential cookies or tracking that requires consent, we will ask for that consent before those tools run.

How we share it

We share personal data only with service providers who process it for us, or when the law requires disclosure. Current processors for this website:

Enquiry data is stored in our CRM (GoHighLevel). The site is hosted on Vercel. Both may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ contractual commitments.

Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to measure site usage in aggregate. It also uses strictly necessary storage for security, load balancing and basic site function. To opt out of Google Analytics you can use Google’s browser opt-out add-on or block cookies in your browser.

Retention

Contact-form records are kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, or longer if we enter a commercial relationship and need them for the engagement, accounting or legal claims. Hosting logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations, subject to our host’s practices.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Québec residents may also exercise rights under Law 25. California residents may request disclosure or deletion under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined there.
